At Sunday Hebrew School<\/span><\/h3>\n

we help create Jewish pride and spiritual connections that last a lifetime. Our non-judgmental, friendly and inclusive policy means every Jewish child is welcome, regardless of affiliation, religious observance, or prior knowledge. Our diverse student body provides a setting where each child is comfortable and able to learn at a relaxed pace. Our Judaic studies curriculum is comprised of selected material culled from award winning educational programs such as ToraPedia, Jewish Lifecycles and Jewish Children International\u0432\u0402\u2122s Lessons in Hebrew Holidays We strive to keep our curriculum diverse by covering the widest possible range of Jewish traditions, heritage, history and culture.<\/p>\n

Hebrew reading curriculum<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our Hebrew reading curriculum is based on the internationally acclaimed Aleph Champion\u0432\u201e\u045e Reading Program. This highly motivational system is time-tested and proven to be the fastest and most effective method of teaching Hebrew reading and writing. The Lessons are Age appropriate, interactive, and hands on. The Children will touch, see and hear about traditional objects and events. The lessons are built around their questions and interest.\u0412<\/p>\n

Activities:\u0412\u00a0<\/strong>Some of the activities are consistent through every lesson (Entrance cards,Read Alouds, etc.) The other activities are varied to reach different types of learners. Activities are fast paced, exciting and meaningful.<\/em><\/p>\n

Holidays<\/span><\/h3>\n

Each grade examines the holiday from a totally different perspective, making each year’s learning a new & exciting holiday adventure. Hands-on lessons on each Jewish holiday will fill the calendar as we proceed from Rosh Hashanah and the High Holidays through the holiday of Shavuot. The students will have a deeper understanding of each holiday, its traditions & customs. We will also host holiday celebrations for students & their families.<\/p>\n

Arts & Crafts:\u0412\u00a0<\/strong>Art projects are incorporated into our curriculum to add to the excitement of the upcoming holidays and Mitzvot.<\/em><\/p>\n
